The purpose of this event is all about whakawhanaungatanga (Kinship/close connection between whanau) and encourage our Ngati Rakaipaaka Whanau Whanui no matter where they live to reconnect and learn about their Ngati Rakaipaakatanga, share their whakapapa, their skills so that we can strive to be proud of our identity as Ngati Rakaipaaka tribal members.
