We are hosting a 2 Day Taiao wananga that will be held on Saturday 14 & 15 October 2023 at Tanenuiarangi Marae in Nuhaka.

We will be providing an update on & discussing these topics;

Overview of kaupapa & finalising Ngā Hua o Te Taiao pre-publication;
Reviewing our 2018 Nuhaka emergency/resilience plan & community watch;
Housing up-date;
WDC & HBRC providing updates about the recovery plans for Nuhaka around our awa and tributaries, drainage;
What is and how important is a freshwater management strategy for rakaipaaka;
Introducing a water monitoring tool;
Harvesting rakau at Morere Reserve and rongoa making;
